• Asthma introduction – global and local context
• Aetiology and risk factors
• Pathophysiology of asthma
• Asthma triggers
• Management of asthma emergencies in the community
• Pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of asthma
• Correct use and care of inhaler devices
• How to educate patients about asthma
• Practical application of the latest asthma guidelines.
